XUL Patterns

Here you’ll find some of the lessons I’ve learned over several months of JavaScript and XUL programming: useful, often non-intuitive solutions that I’ve turned to over and over (that’s the “patterns” part). Most of it is non-basic; basics are already covered by many good sources elsewhere.

It’s a small collection and many a scribbled note is still waiting in line to become an article and pop in here. If you want to know when new material is posted, you can add the section feed to your newsreader. If you’re curious about the other JavaScript content on this site, check out the posts tagged with javascript.

Although this isn’t a blog-style section, you’ll find the usual comment box at the end of each page. For a reason! Please share any suggestions, criticism, or insight you might have.

Enjoy,

Massimiliano
